I’ve long been a proponent of working out barefoot or in shoes with little padding.  Yeah, I know this goes against conventional wisdom.  I’m not saying I know what I’m talking about, I’m just saying: look at all the fancy pantsy $150 sneakers and orthotics we have.  Look at all the knee and foot problems.  Ok? Ok.
