These are a few of my favorite things!

Can you eat too much almond butter?  I mean, almond butter is healthy, right?  So I say NO, you can never eat too much almond butter.  The almond fats are good for your skin, heart, cholesterol… hell, we should BATHE in the stuff.

No, not really.  There would be a run on almond butter and the prices would go up and I couldn’t afford my habit.  In fact, I changed my mind.  Almond butter is NOT healthy.  Everyone forward your jars of almond butter to me directly.

Because almond butter can pack a caloric punch and because I’m not really so solid on that “moderation” thing I’ve been hearing about… I came up with a healthy and satisfying way to prolong and enhance my almond butter satisfaction.

I would have taken a picture of this snack earlier today but… um… I couldn’t wait to eat it.  Sorry!

Chop one apple (Pink Lady apples are my favorite, but any kind will do!), 1 large peeled carrot and toss in a bowl.  Drizzle 2 tbsps of almond butter over the apples and carrots and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a few tablespoons of raisins.  It’s a nice, sweet treat but with all healthy sugars.  I think kids would really like it too!

If you try it, let me know how you like it below!
